The classes at pre-primary schools across the country will start on March 15 after two years of closure due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Initially, the in-person classes will be held for two days (Sunday and Tuesday) per week, said a press release issued by the ministry on Wednesday.
The decision was taken in a meeting held at Secretariat chaired by Zakir Hossain, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education, today.
Primary schools across the country resumed in-person classes on March 2 with strict Covid-19 protocols in place after one and half month of closure.
Secretary of the Ministry Aminul Islam Khan, Director General of the Department of Primary Education Alamgir Mansurul Alam, Additional Secretary Ruhul Amin, Mosharraf Hossain and were present at the meeting.
